I'm surprised no one has done this yet, considering the number of Canadians among the publishers here. It's July 2, but I'm not technically late with these well-wishings since Canada Day is being observed today.

I hope everyone has a polite, quiet, reserved Canada Day.

No, no, the US hasn't invaded. (And won't, at least until they run out of water or something).

Now, a Canadian army once set fire to the White House, but that's a different story.

I'm sure we've apologized for it by now.

Ahh but soon it will belong to the UK, provided my plans don't go awry. I'm going to use a fleet of aircraft carriers to tow the entirety of Canada outside the five mile limit into international waters and claim her in the name of Queen Victoria! Muahahahaha!
