*visits Wiki"

[PG Wodehouse mode] I say Ash, I do believe this bounder is using a derogatory term in your deference. Were I you I should probably give him a jolly stern telling off, possibly in front of his good lady wife in order to teach him a lesson and show him what's what, what. As you know, I am not one to advocate the use of 'gentleman's words' but in the matter of this scoundrel I would be inclined to make an exception![/PG Wodehouse mode]

I love Wodehouse. I can't help but read your post with Stephen Fry's voice in my head.

I had Hugh Laurie in mind :) You'll probably enjoy this thread

Good show, very funny, makes me wish I could write in upper-class twit English but I'm afraid that will never happen.

I considered Laurie for your earlier post but there were some large-ish words in there and I can't imagine Prince George ever communicating so eloquently.

I'm sure you've got a local equivalent. I believe hockey was mentioned ;)

True, if you're not careful this canuck's lingo will deke you out of your shorts. You'll need a double-double or a two-fer just to feel better.

I've got a couple of loonies that says you don't understand that, eh?

Hmm...not nearly as satisfying.
