|
|
Hey All
So, I'm going to post a question, first person who posts the correct answer gets a prize! To start off with, I'll make offers. If this keeps going, winners can have a choice from the SEP catalogue.
Please do not edit posts. If you want to correct your answer, post a new message indicating you are changing your answer. I'll PM the winner and the prize will be in the form of a complimentary copy through YGN.
Okay, so we'll start off with an easy:
Name the man who created Delta Force (not the movie, I'm talkin' 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta). _________________ ---

Actually it was me, but the government hushed it up.
(See, that's the problem with modern quizzes, especially internet ones. It's no longer a contest of knowledge. Wikipedia knows everything.)

I'm all for this. I love quizzes and getting things I didn't pay for (except certain viral infections). How about some riddles. Wikipedia can't help with those. _________________ _________________

Okay, this question has 3 parts. It's for another free copy of Covert Forces Redux.
The big finale in this 1982 movie reproduced in many aspects the SAS' famous Princess Gate operation at the Iranian Embassy in 1980.
1) Give the two titles by which this movie is generally known.
2) Give two aspects of the movie's embassy assault that differ from the actual Princess Gate operation.
3) In the movie, there is an American soldier cross-training with the SAS. From what unit does this soldier originate.
jasona and Alzrius, as winners, please refrain from this round. _________________ ---

1) The Final Option, Who Dares Wins.
2)When they all burst in the door, nobody goes behind it to see if there's a terrorist hiding there (standard practise) and second, the American Embassy used in the film is the main building of Pinewood Studios.
3) Delta Force? I don't know anything about war _________________ _________________
